Appliance Repair in Vinings, GA

Vinings, GA

Vinings has never incorporated; it is an unincorporated community on the Chattahoochee River, directly across from Buckhead. It started as a crossroads, took the name Paces from Hardy Pace, who ran a ferry across the river around 1830, and later became Vinings after William H. Vining, who worked on a railroad bridge here in the 1840s. Today it is also home to The Home Depot's headquarters.

The housing is denser than in much of Cobb, with a large share of condominiums, townhomes and apartments alongside single-family streets. In condos and townhomes, access is often the hardest part of a repair: stacked laundry tucked into closets, dishwashers under stone counters and over-the-range microwaves in tight runs. Our technicians work carefully in those spaces and protect floors and finishes. For leaks, we check the supply line and drain first, since water in a shared building can reach the neighbors below.

Quick checks before you call

A tripped breaker, a closed water valve or a child lock left on explains more no-start calls than you might expect. Look at those first, and always unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before checking anything behind a panel. If it is still not working, call us and we will take it from there.

For condo and townhome owners, mention any gate code, parking rules or HOA requirements when you book so the technician arrives prepared. Renters can schedule directly too, and a landlord can review and approve the written estimate before work begins. The $80 diagnostic fee on standard appliances is credited toward the repair.

Refrigerator ice makers and water dispensers are a common call in condos and townhomes. Slow fill, hollow cubes or a dispenser that drips often trace back to a clogged filter, a frozen fill tube or a failing water valve, all of which we repair. Our ice maker repair page has more detail.
