Bosch dishwashers are among the most common in Atlanta homes, prized for quiet running and clean results. When one stops mid-cycle, flashes an error code or leaves standing water, the fix is usually specific and well understood once you know how Bosch builds them.
Mr. Fixer repairs Bosch dishwashers, refrigerators, wall ovens and cooktops, ranges and 24-inch washers and dryers throughout Metro Atlanta. Our technicians test before they replace, and you see the written estimate before work starts.
About Bosch appliances
Bosch home appliances are made by BSH Hausgeräte, the German company that also owns Thermador and Gaggenau. Bosch dishwashers use a stainless steel tub and condensation drying instead of a large exposed heating element, which is why they are quiet and why plastics may come out damp. Many models also have a float switch in the base that stops the machine when it senses water. That leak protection is a safety feature, and it is behind one of the most common codes we see. Bosch parts are well supported in the US, and many dishwasher pumps, sensors and seals are available quickly.

Common Bosch problems we fix
E15 code or dishwasher won't start
On many Bosch dishwashers, E15 means water has reached the base pan and tripped the leak protection float. The real job is finding where the water came from: a pump seal, a hose connection, a door gasket or oversudsing from the wrong detergent.
E24 or E25 drain errors
These codes commonly point to a drain problem. E24 often traces to a kinked or clogged drain hose or a blocked air gap or disposal connection, while E25 often means debris in the drain pump. We clear the blockage and test the pump.
Dishes come out wet
Some dampness on plastics is normal with condensation drying. Soaked dishes across the rack are not, and they usually point to empty rinse aid, a failing heater or a circulation pump problem.
Bosch refrigerator not cooling evenly
On Bosch bottom-freezer and French-door fridges, warm spots often come from an iced evaporator, a failing fan or a defrost fault. We check the defrost system before anyone talks about the compressor.
Cooktop or wall oven not heating
Induction cooktops can stop on one zone because of a failed power module or a pan the sensor does not detect. Bosch wall ovens commonly need a temperature sensor, bake element or convection fan motor.
24-inch washer stuck or not draining
Bosch 24-inch washers drain through a pump with a filter behind a small front access panel. A sock or coin there is a frequent cause of drain errors and long cycles.
Bosch tips from our technicians
- Use dishwasher detergent only, and never dish soap. Even a small amount of hand soap can produce enough suds to trip the E15 leak protection on a Bosch.
- Twist out and rinse the filter assembly at the bottom of the tub every month. It is the cheapest way to prevent drain errors and gritty dishes.
- Keep rinse aid topped up. Bosch condensation drying depends on it more than heated-dry dishwashers do.
Bosch repair FAQs
Can I clear the E15 code myself?
You can turn off power and check for obvious leaks, but tilting the machine to drain the base only hides the problem. If the code returns, a component is leaking and needs repair. Call us at (678) 866-3669 and we will find the source.
Do you repair Bosch appliances other than dishwashers?
Yes. We repair Bosch refrigerators, wall ovens, ranges, cooktops, and 24-inch washers and dryers. Thermador appliances come from the same parent company, and we service those as well.
Is a Bosch dishwasher worth fixing?
Most of the time. Pumps, sensors, seals and control parts are affordable compared with a new built-in dishwasher plus installation. Our guide on dishwasher repair costs in Atlanta explains what drives the price.
